Does the court have subject matter jurisdiction? It’s an APC matter. If anything, the the runner up in the primaries that should take over.

If you understand the law you will read where the court said the Primart was inconclusive.... PDP can’t gain from that.... Remember the Supreme Court has ruled that it’s the party that owns the ticket and not the candidate. I’m sure the Appeal court will correct the mistake.

The decision is from the primary election that was conducted not the election itself.

It is unfortunate and somehow worrisome that most APC candidates are products of flawed elections whether it be party primaries or general election.

I think in Rivers or something back then. Amaechi didn't stand for election but won against Omehia at the Supreme Court, who was the sitting governor months after election in 2007. Although both were in PDP.

The court agreed that Amaechi's name was deliberately removed and Omehia replaced him in the primaries.

If the party primaries has been invalidated then APC was not a participant in the election hence why the victory was given to the PDP. Now for the omehia case in Rivers state, they had a valid primaries but only substituted the name of the winner and that is why the victory was sill confined to the winning party.
