One party system - the dimension we've failed to look from.
From all indications, ranging from shifting of blames to opposition, the selective fight against corruption, the level of compromise in the judiciary system, intolerance to oppositions at the legislative arm of government, the use of security agencies for dirty jobs in elections, INEC's insincerity in their conduct of elections, threat to true journalism etc, it can be said that APC is on the brinks of creating a one party system or something very close to that.
There's no need to write much, but let's watch out for the outcomes of the gubernatorial and states houses of assembly elections by weekend. In a democratic society, it is imperative for the role of opposition to be allowed to thrive and serve as demurral to the ruling government.
For those praying for PDP and all other opposition parties to crumble completely, just remember that once a one party system society is actualized, the common man will have his seat at the receiving end.
Employment into public sectors will be completely based on who you know in the government, so will admission into higher institutions, awards of scholarships, success in business etc be based on on who your godfather is in the government.
Go ahead and insult me with your keyboard, but I have said what I want to say. Moreover, it takes a broad mind to think and see the dimension things are taking, so I won't blame you if you don't share my views. There should be no room for a one party system in Nigeria because Nigeria is to big for it...
And, don't tell me that PDP was like that because we didn't bring APC to repeat PDP's mistakes, but to rather correct them for good.
