ThinkSmarter: Still wailing over Jonathan's loss, get over it. Even though both the northern and southern elites are highly corrupt, the average poor masses abhor corruption and dishonesty, meanwhile, the southern masses support and condone corruption and dishonesty. The northern electorate rejected Jonathan mainly because of the corruption tag, same reason they rejected Atiku and Saraki. The main reason why Buhari is popular in the north is because of the "integrity" and "incorruptible" (whether rightly or wrongly) toga he carries. 1 Like |
