Lagos State University, Ojo has a population of more than 20,000 student of which over 65% are muslims. Every Ramadan, Muslim students are faced with the challenges of what to eat for Sahur and how to break their fast. LASU being a non-residential area as incapacitated us not to be able to cater for the Sahur of students as we have focused more on Iftar.

Last year, with your generous financial contributions, we were able to sponsor almost 10,000 iftars! This year, we are anticipating that we will serve even more - we are estimating about 30,000 meals. Each meal is valued at #250 (includes overhead), we will need to raise #7,500,000 to cover the costs of iftar for the month of Ramadan as we intend to give iftarb to 1000 students per day. Will you consider making a material or financial gift to help us meet our goal?

Every donation counts - so we have made it possible to sponsor a single meal for #250, two meal for #500 , ten meal cost just #2,500 and with #5,000, 20 student can comfortably eat Iftar.
An entire night of iftar will cost us #250,000 as 1,000 students will be catered for per night. You may even choose to donate any amount above, below, or in-between.
