I laugh you. Call us slaves all you can, but the truth is that at the root of every igbo man's heart is a deep desire for independence as against igbo presidency.

When pdp was about choosing the VP candidate for Atiku, many igbos, myself inclusive, we're rooting for a Yoruba VP candidate. We are not too bothered about the presidency because that's not the solution to our problems. You can carryout a survey on your own and ask igbos around you.

Truth is that all these things about who is at the presidency is more or less about bragging rights for most people because the true beneficiaries are those close to the people in power (regardless of their tribe). Outside them, every other person is on the same level. Let me ask you, what have you personally benefitted from Osibanjo as vp? Or your governor?

Leave matter abeg.

That is why I get angry at these people calling iBo this ibo that. We don't care about who wins. There are too intimidated to hear that a who tribe is not interested in being president provided things work fine.

If you want to give ibo something noteworthy. Give him biafra not presidency.

We don't care who rules just do the right thing.

Average man see Igbo's as secessionist...

Unless maybe when the generation of people that witness the civil war are been wiped out..Before normalcy can return to peoples brain...

And Books are not helping your situation...

Igbos are secessionists and, we are not apologetic about that.

Igbos are secessionists yet, the northerners, who first threatened secession "Araba" are not seen as secessionists.

The average Yoruba is really dull. He only assumes and guesses.

In reality, Gubernatorial elections should be the Most important. If your governor worked, you would care about Buhari.

Governors pocket LGAs and Councils, the closes governments to the people.

But I have no idea why Nigerians still don't get it

This can only be true after restructuring. The way things are right now too much power is concentrated in abuja. Federal government decides almost everything

Not true. Abuja is hardly holding anybody back. Every state gets monie every month. And Abuja doesn't tell them how to use these monies. Even when the president did, with the Paris fund, some of the governors still embezzled the fund.

Do you know how much is received by SS governors per annum? But see how the place be like.

Governors are as lazy as the electorates, who do not challenge them, that's the problem. A situation where some governors are hailed for paying salaries or grading a road....like it is their money

The governors should not be receiving money but generating money. Why won't they be lazy? The feeding bottle structure breeds laziness. States should be the one paying FG not FG paying states

The constitution is flawed. That's a given. But the electorates are a serious clog in the development of the country.

Politicians generally are selfish. The people must challenge them, remind them of their promises, vote them out and retire them if they defect to another party (this undermines democratic principles)

On the contrary, the electorates hail them. After 20 years of democracy, Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world.

One of the most profitable businesses in Nigeria/Africa is politics.

The current arrangement is not working, and may never work, but the governors have contributed to its failure. Pocketed smaller governments

If the electorates don't become active, even a federated Nigeria would not work.
