That statement not correct to some certain extent. I strongly disagree on the statement because Abraham used similar one and Bible contained catalog of people who made similar expression.

Maybe what he is trying to say is that people need to do something to have the change they desire. Praying for instance is work and if you don't pray you may never get the desires of your heart. You may not get that healing or increase.

Another example is You can't just wish yourself into a fellowship with God, it takes hours of prayers, study, worship etc. If you don't do it then your fellowship would be mediocre. For you to have an active relationship with God you must work it out.


But there are instances where God wants you to hands off the situation and he takes full control. I have a personal testimony to that effect. I have passed exams I never sat for, I have seen a friend's F change to A months later just by believing God and praying. So well.

Even Oyedepo once got healing from tuberculosis without medical help, so I'm sure what he said is contextual.

Ogbeni am a first class graduate of Theology...with specialization on Trinitology. I will school you in church matters. How do my post suggest atheism...I am trying to give the pastor the implications of his comments and you are here saying I should pray for forgiveness. Who are you to Jugde ur neighbor. His comments is a direct attack on faith and hope in God. Attack the Pastor Oyedepo and not myself.
