[quote author=Nodogragra4me post=76528002]No doubt the actions have the blessings of the Presidency but you see, there ought to be a limit to which a man can be supported... From what is happening in Rivers it is obvious Amaechi has no support base anywhere in the state including his own locality hence the state wide siege and persecution of the innocent citizens of the state We're saying the same thing. However, until opinion leaders, traditional leaders, politicians, religious leaders and business leaders in/from Rivers state raise their voices against this siege nothing may happen to end it. |

its time politicians understand that a state can't belong to them...why the use of military??...the electoral commission is also confused..I know they want peace in rivers state and looking for a way to call the result.. must rivers state election be do or die affair..enough is enough..rivers state is not Lagos state where somebody owns the state and decides who becomes governor or not. masses can't go for their businesses in rivers state...take a look at rumuola- waterline road...banks and shops are shutdown...which is unfair rivers state should be peaceful please..we are tired of this...I blame the politicians. all of them... secondly the electoral commission is biased and been obsessed with promises and gift from the politicians. last week Saturday...number of armoured cars was much..I got confused if this is Iraq or rivers state. I repeat"the electoral commission should do the right thing " unless this state will be declared state of emergency. |

Nodogragra4me:You call that man in aso rock the president? His personal interest is what concerns him. They secured a stolen mandate for him and that is what concerns him. Nigeria can go up in flames he does nt care. Did you hear him talk about leaving a legacy of free and fare elections? What is going on in rivers is buhari s definition of free and fare election. God will soon rid us of this man. He wont die but he wont rule either. |

It is saddening to live in an era where the commander in chief completely hands off the command of security forces to politicians for a filthy lucre of ’support’ for his second term bid. godliman: |
