AAU sex-for-marks: The family of one Itohan Okhihie, who was allegedly sexually harassed by Chairman of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, branch of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Dr Monday Igbafen, has denied knowing the petitioner.

They are now demanding an apology from the school for involving them in the scandal they claimed had been resolved in 2011.

The Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma had announced the suspension of the philosophy lecturer after accusing him of withholding Itohan's scripts for 7 years just because she refused him sex.

The allegation was vehemently denied by Igbafen who insisted that he was being blackmailed by the school authorities for standing against some illegal deals that are being perpetuated in the school.

And in a twist to the alleged sexual harassment, the Okhihie family have disowned the alleged petitioner, one J.A. Okhihie who had in a petition to the school on behalf of the Okhihie family, demanded punishment for Igbafen.

The family described him as faceless and also denied requesting that the university reopen investigation into the case, which they said had been resolved 8 years ago.
