Took My Laptop for repairs and the Technician Stole My Laptop by Nnemuka(f): 6:27pm On Mar 12, 2019 |
A friend introduced me to a technnician last year and on November 8 2018 i took my Lenovo ideapad (A prototype is below) to him for repairs. That laptop had only virus problems of which i told him to help me and get rid of the virus and he agreed that he could do that and i should come the following day to get my laptop. The following day i went and i discovered the Laptop nolonger comes on. It was blank, nothing was showing except the Lenovo logo. Well he said something broke inside and will require 11k to fix it and that was the beginning of my problems. I kept on paying money and i gave him over 50,000 and yet he didn't fix my laptop. Now i have asked him to return the laptop and he has been turning me around. I went back to his shop and was told he locked shop for a month now and hasn't been in town. I called him and he said he got a job in Delta state and relocated with my laptop. This laptop cost over 300k when i bought it in 2014 and i am about to lose it to this guy after taking over 50000 from me. I reported at the station and i was asked to find out his home address and i honestly do not know where he lives. From my little enquiry, he was a former student at University of Portharcourt where he studied engineering. His name is Ugochukwu Gerald Ezugwu from Enugu state and his pictures are attached here. Please anybody that knows him or his whereabout should help get to him so he can give me back my laptop. 2 Likes

Since November 8 2018, i have been paying money because he kept on claiming one thing or the other is faulty on the laptop. The last money i paid into his account number 6233187858 fidelity bank was 8000 and it was weeks ago when he claimed he fixed my laptop and i should tell him my whereabout so he can come and bring it to me. Well i believed the dubious being and transferred the money thinking i was transacting with a sane person and since then he either tells me story or he doesn't pick my calls anymore. I have all the chats and account transfers i made with him and i am willing to show them as witness only if i can lay my hands on him. Please anybody who can help me retrieve my laptop from this guy should advice me on what next to do. |

Look at the face of the evil human being, wicked soul, you can run but you cannot hide, your sins will find you out. That new work will not yield your desired prospect, until you return the laptop and money, you will continue to lose all your earnings to treat diseases and pay hospital bills. It's guys like this that blame Buhari for their miserable existence and yet scam innocent hustling folks of their hard earned money. You are worst than the so called corrupt politicians. 4 Likes |

lesson 1). Never trust an igbo guy in any form of business.... they are all scammers. lesson 2). The friend who introduced him to you should be arrested as well, trust me he will know little about his where about. lesson 3). Never take any expensive product to someone and he or she tells u to leave the product with him/her and come back the next day. except if the person has a standard and well recognize shop. lesson 4). I repeat do not trust an igbo guy, thier way of life is bad and the bad ones are much than the good ones. lesson 5). Nairaland can not help you locate the guy. search him on fb with d name and contact some of his friends on fb and if he isn't on fb then u are doomed. lesson 6). Don't take ur product to all this small small shops guys that doesn't know anything abt the product you brought to them.. what they know about is how to scam you off the product. lesson 7). If an igbo guy calls you for a business, my brother just run for ur life. 1 Like |

As much as I empathize with you on your loss bro, I must say this; you weren't wise enough. How could you keep sending money to the same so-called repairer everything for a laptop you know had a slight issue and even during malfunctioning, reason should have told you it's a minor fault. Common na it's common sense, even if its a car one drives, you don't say because you aren't a mechanic therefore you allow one to rip you off your hard earned money by giving you stories today and tomorrow and endless repairs. It's well... 1 Like
