Anyone with a better analysis of the underlined? Because by my own interpretation, I see uncertainty in the line.
My people, like I said, let’s just forget about this NNPC stuff. I feel sad to say this, but the fact is that everyday, it is becoming clearer the exercise is a scam. It may have started as a genuine recruitment, but that is now long over. The recruitment is a scam. No APL this month and, and my instincts tell me, for several months to come. Our major priority right now should should be how to repair Nigeria for our children, beginning from infiltrating political parties to showing more interests in politics so that the bad eggs don’t end up ruling over us, the intellectuals. Once the government of any country is good, every other aspect will be better. Those clamouring for twitter callout of NNPC, it may be cool for us the lucky candidates who have progressed thus far, but I see such motivation as a bit selfish because the recruitment only concerns us. If some of us did not get to the interview stage, I don’t think such people would be fighting the course on twitter for the people who got to the interview stage. So, let’s think more than NNPC. Let’s think of Nigeria as a whole. There is a deep-rooted fundamental problem in this country. Channel any energy you have into repairing Nigeria, first and foremost via politics. This enthusiasm to change Nigeria should be for our children like I said. For our present generation, there is no hope.

Oga..we can start the repair by clamouring for a successful end of a recruitment that started credibly well..atleast we need to know what went wrong along the line nd to know our fate with the recruitment..i tink d twitter stuff is a gud idea..dnt discourage/ dissuade any1..the change can start here.

The recruitment is not a SCAM. This recruitment is the most sought-after government recruitment in Nigeria, so you don't just expect it to go so easily....But God is handling it.

the burden of proof lies in the hand of the person that first makes the assertion. You first made the assertion, "this recruitment is NOT a scam" this is a claim so you should give your evidence. Ok make we leave philosophy for one corner, truth be told this recruitment is beginning to look like a sham.

The recruitment is still on, but was suspended due to a court case at hand over age discrimination. The next court hearing is scheduled for next month. pls let's be patient and hope it favours us.

If they're not trying to make it (recruitment) look like a scam, how come they spent more than 6 months selecting the successful candidates?

Who said the recruitment has been suspended?

The recruitment is still on but looks like a scam from all indicators.

I think is good for all of us that have been fully involved in the recruitment process to move on social media protests and demand for the release of APL.

The same case that i heard has been settled out of court from Abuja peeps when i went for Sterling bank third stage. This non conclusion of this exercise is beginning to get on my nerves. They should let people know their fate, we all deserve that for those who have gotten to this stage irrespective of whether we get the apl or not.

from a very reliable source, not everyone will be paid tf. But to what criteria is what I don't know.
Is it this same "very reliable source" that told you that the APL's delay is due to the court case? Just want to check something.

Can't agree more, Nigeria is irredeemable. Worst of it all, you say what? Politics? wrong idea. What Nigeria needs right now is REVOLUTION!

Whether you join politics, Nigeria is a region comprising of three nations. You can't make any decision without a common ground. I have long given up.

Well, I can't live in another man's land, I can't permanently move to another country, Nigeria has gotten a bad tag, go to any airport around the world, and mention you're a Nigerian, you will be given a special attention. It's only a matter of time that other nations will follow after South Africa. So it's Nigeria or no other. I have long readjusted my mind.

REVOLUTION! That's my answer, my opinion anyway...

REVOLUTION is like an overthrow of government. More like a coup. Where you have militias fighting the military to take power. Is that what you want? I think that's why Sowore was detained although might not be what he intended. Just chill because i still remember vividly an engineer at the tower said it took close to two years for theirs to be out. But
Last Last you saying you can't live in another man's land.. That a big fat lie. If unfortunately say nnpc no show us love.. I too sure say you go later be Land grabber.

There is no country more in need of a revolution than Nigeria. And yet there is no group of people more incapable of bringing about it than Nigerians. However, revolutions can hardly be sustained if they do not happen organically. We must get to the point where there is no available option than revolt. This is partly why Sowore failed. Our collective inertia is too strong to be overcome by mere social media rhetoric. What is needed is a strong message. But until that happens, we must naturally arrive at our own tipping point. I'm afraid that will be a long time.

1. Libya's so called revolution did not happen organically.

2. The outcomes of events like a revolution are largely asymmetrical and cannot be predicted in the short term. This is the problem. No spirit of sacrifice. Look through history at the nations whose founding fathers fought off oppressive colonials to establish. They suffered short term losses for the future gains of their offspring.

3. Note that I'm not trying to convince anyone to start or join a revolution. Like I said earlier, it must happen organically.
