ex-LGA Chairman, Alex Ikwechegh Hosts Benjamin Kalu to Special Lunch at Hilton (Photos)

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State, Alex Mascot Ikwechegh, today hosted All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Rep member elect, Barr. Benjamin Kalu to a special lunch, Igbere TV reports.

This is coming hours after Kalu was issued with a certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Igbere TV reports that the event took place at the International Conference Centre, ICC, in Abuja on Thursday.

Ikwechegh is also a former council chairman of Aba North local government in Abia state.

Barr. Kalu was recently elected into the House of Representatives to represent Bende Federal Constituency in the February 23 National Assembly elections.

He was hosted to the lunch at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja immediately after Thursday's event.

During the lunch, the former Chairman, Ikwechegh urged all Bende people to rally round the newly elected representatives for the development of the constituency.
