SAME NIGHT





Kess stepped into the shower, toes flinching as they touched the chilled ceramic floor, his mind was in shreds; he wasn't sure if he'll ever get that picture of her breast from his head, he turned the dial, old and metallic, releasing thousands of lukewarm drops, darkening his hair and trickled down his back. His eyes fell closed over and over, each time showing him the images like photographs ...
He has fallen too deep and he feared his feelings may bounce back to hurt him, she hasn't said anything about what he said the day she said she was leaving, even when he tried to explain, she shove him off putting an end to the discussion..

He couldn't sleep, all he kept thinking about was her and how he was rejected, how he's going to live the rest of his life realizing he was close to her but couldn't have her ...
He turn off the shower, grab a towel and step out, he wasn't the type that usually take his bath at this goddamn time of the night.., but he needed to cool his mind, he thought the cold water will take his mind off things and let sleep swoop in..

Not bothering to dry his hair, he tossed the towel aside and wore his white pants, he imagined sleeping n*ked with her by his side, her soft body pressing against his.
He grunted when his boner tightened in his pants, forgetting her isn't going to be easy, he wont, he knows that now..
He climbed into the bed and her words came fresh in his head, she'll be leaving as soon as the sun comes up, his heart wants her to stay, his body yearns for her but he won't be getting any of it, she has made up her mind and he feels his actions compelled her decision..

He gritted trying to shake off the thoughts of her, he wasn't sure if he's going to see her again, who'll return to a town where her life was shattered....

Small pallets of water spit in his skin, he quickly drew close to the window, The rain was something that stopped his thoughts from buzzing, calmed him, but not today, the rain failed in his magic and once reminds him of strong his feelings is towards her.. ,The wind washed the zinc creating a melancholic song. Waiting for the rain to wash all of the misery away, he sat there, his gaze burning into the window view , staring at the beauty of the upcoming storm and the crying clouds....

He close the window darted to the bed when thunder roared in the sky, he took hold of the pillow pressing his erection against the bedsheets, life will be hell living without her, it felt like he was lost without her..
He snorted and reach for his phone when the message tone beep..,a smile surrounded his lips when he realise the sender was her, the one he's been thinking of, but why would she send him a message so late at night...

Not bothering to hear the answer to that, he opened the message, his eyes narrowed when it says 'Are you sleeping? '

He sat up wondering if she noticed he was awake, he sigh and texted 'No' to her

Pulse beating in his ears he waited for her reply..

'I cant either' She replied

'Are you scared of thunder? ' ' he texted back

She didn't reply, he wanted her to, but she didn't.., instead a light knock came from his room door..
He quickly jump up from the bed, his heart raced, confused, he grab a pair of joggers that was close by and drag it on, the last thing he wants was her seeing her in boxers with his erection hard against it..

The knock came again and he whimpered, he took a deep breathe, she was just knocking 'cos she can't sleep and he can't either...

Heart throbbing, he opened the door, the light on the doorway made her face visible, his eyes wandered to her sleeping gown, then her breast, those breast he can't get off his mind..

"Hi.. "she muttered

He jolted out of his thoughts, God he wanted her, wants her in every way..
"Hi.. "He returned shabbily

He watched her flinched and he felt she must be thinking she made a mistake knocking on his door at this late hour of the night.., damn, why will a woman be knocking the door of man at this hour of the night.., Except..

"Is it too late for us to talk.. ?She ask..,mouth pouted

Talk.!, what exactly was she here to talk about, he swallowed wondering if she has thought the worse of his confession, his silly confession.. "Yes, i mean no. " his teeth chattered.. "Please, come in.. "He added turning on the light..

She hesitated and he feared she changed her mind..

"Thank you.. "She muttered waiting for him to move out from the door..

Embarrassment washed across his face when her eyes fused on the clothes he threw on the floor, he had the intention of folding them and arranging them in the wardrobe at dawn.., who would have thought an unexpected visitor will show up...

"Thunder is not really my thing.. "she said calmly..

When she spoke, he quickly realise it wasn't the thunder, she was scared, not of the thunder but the things she has done, she killed a man and burnt him alive and now she's finding it difficult to live with the guilt..,he drew close to her, he didn't want to, didn't plan to but damn, he can't stand and watch her go through it alone, she killed him but he hid the truth, he is into this as much as she is....
"I used to.. "He returned calmly.. "When i was a child, i was always scared of thunder.,at first i wasn't until i watched a movie where thunder killed a man.. "

He watched her chuckle, he was glad, atleast she found something to laugh about despite the horror that terrorized her..

"A movie did that to you..?

His jaw dropped, and he nodded..
She smiled and his heart melted, even without makeup, she was an angel, everyday that passes, he fears his feelings increases..

"I was a kid, that was one of the stupid things i did as a kid.. "

"And what other stupid thing did you do as a kid officer Kess..?

He scoffs and crunched down beside her.. "I did many stupid things, even some, i can't remember.. "

She stilled and he wonder what she was thinking, he yearn for her, he wasn't sure how long he's going to keep his hands from touching her, dragging her close to him.., they just sat, their eyes dug into each other.., heart throbbing, he dared to lean his head closer to her, she didn't flinched and he felt that was a welcoming note, he lean closer, his lips a few inch from hers.., he trot further, his mouth heading for hers, He knew she didn’t love him back, but he couldn’t resist. He leaned in a little closer, their foreheads touching. Dear God, he couldn’t fight against the thoughts that were going through him. Her very smell was flooding his senses now......

He pressed his tongue to the seam of her lips, The kiss obliterated every thought. For the first time in forever, Kess mind was locked into the present...,The worries of the day evaporated like a smoke into the clouds. His usual mode of hurrying from one thing to the next was suspended, he had no wish for the kiss to end. Drunk on endorphins his only desire was to touch her, to move his hands under her smooth skin and feel her perfect softness. In moments the soft caress has become more firm, he savoured her lips and the quickening of her breath that matched his own. A kiss like this was a beginning, a promise of much more to come....

Suddenly she pulled away and regret smashed every flesh and bone in his body....

She stood up, away from him like he was some devil she ought to run away from..

"Am sorry.. "His words came out sharp, regret slicing through his chest.. "Am sorry.. "He added standing up to meet her gaze but she looked away and his heart skipped, a reminder that he just ruined any chance of her becoming his, how could he be so stupid, why did he do that..

Before he could summon up breathe to do another apology, she had slammed her lips to his and nearly knocked all wind from his lungs.
He hardly had a moment to react before she pressed her tongue to the seam of his lips and at his grant of access, delved inside his mouth....

His lips brush hers. Not innocently, like a tease but hot, fiery, passionate and demanding. He want to pull away before he lose himself but he can’t seem to…In that minty moment, his senses have been seduced and he can no longer think straight....
He kissed her and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled.
Sonia ran her fingers down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest...
His brain lit on fire and the warmth spread throughout his entire body. After that he was addicted, he couldn't bare not to be with her and he could barely breathe when she was around. Those kisses were his salvation and his torment. He lived for them and he would die with the memory of them on his lips....

Gasping for breathe, he lifted her and dropped her on the bed.., thunder rumbled outside, rain splattered on the roof and the cold pricked their skin..

EPISODE 27..





Be sure to see many mistakes, i was feeling very dizzy while typing,i just wanted to drop something to show you guys i haven't forgotten you.., Work has been stressful this past few days..





Fear became a tangible, living force that crept over Francis like some hungry beast, immobilizing him, his brain, holding him captive...,Pulse beating in his ears blocking out all other sounds, he snuck into a corner, away from the guards, he was lucky non of the guards recognized him, he took a deep drag and try to calm his panic..

He couldn't still believe it, Vuga had abandoned him, he should never have trusted him, he was wrong when he thought Vuga had changed, he hadn't, he's still the same arrogant selfish bastard he always had been..
A gleen of sweat rolled down to his face, he look around and took a peep at the guards sitting round a fire laughing hysterically, he wonder what was making them laugh that much....

He snorted when he felt no-one was looking his way, He quickly pulled off the metal helmet from his head, drag in a deep breathe to relax his nerves...
The main building was still a few miles ahead, the guards surrounding the main building will even be more than the ones he has seen, it won't be easy, he knows that for a fact but one thing was sure, no matter wht he has to do, he's getting Katherine out of the palace..

His heart pounded when he heard footsteps, they were close, how could he be so stupid not to have noticed early.., heart racing, he wore back the metal helmet and stood up, but he was too late, two guards already noticed he was there...
He was not frightened nor was he afraid. What he felt was beyond such mere nouns....

"What are you doing here..?

Colour drained from Francis face as the question resounded in his head.., His teeth chattered in fear, thank God for the darkness of the night, the guards won't notice how bleak his fear expression is..
He lour his head when one of the guards panned a firelamp in his face...

"Are you an Azai..?

Francis heart froze, what could the guard possibly mean by that, he prays it wasn't a sign for something because if it is, there is no way he'll find the answer to that...

"Let him be.. "The other guard chimes in

Francis sigh, a sigh of relief..,he tried to be stilled as possible but his mouth was too shaking to be silent.., swallowing up the fear that lingers inside him, he summon up the courage to speak.. ..
"I.. "He whimpered.. "I was just resting.. "

"And why would you be resting while the rest of us are busy, don't you know what been a guard means..?

"Amm.. Am sorry.. "He muttered

"Let him be.. "The other guard balled in and Francis wish the one with the silly questions can listen to his friend..

"Remove your helmet..?

A cold wave embalmed Francis, his mouth ran dry as the command reechoe in his head..

"Now.. "

Sweat poured down his body but he stayed still.."I didn't mean to do it, the thing is, i was hungry, i caught a rat and i didn't want the other guards to notice i roasted a rat and was eating it.. "

Heart throbbing in his ears loud and irregular, he waited for his reaction....
He sigh when they both burst into laughter..

"You eat rats..?

Part of Francis wanted him to run, yet he knew that he hadn’t come this far to flee just yet..,no matter what he has to do, he'll rescue Katherine like the way he did before...
"Only when i get very hungry.. "

"What sort of a human eats rats..?

Francis didn't bother replying, he realise the more questions he answers, the more prolonged the question and answer session will become...
"I should go.. "he said calmly taking a step.. "The others must be wondering where i have gone to... "

He grunted when a cold laughter evaporated once again from the guard.., but he didn't give him any chance to say anything, he trot forward, not bothering to glance back to take a look at them...

Heart hammering against her chest, Adesa watched as the guards finished eating the food she'd taken to them earlier.., She hid herself and waited for the drugs to take effect....,she wasn't sure how much of the drugs she had dropped in the food but she overdozed it, now she prays the drugs does it job..

With her arms about his neck and a leg over his ,she breathes softly in his face...,it was adorable having her close, this was the least of the good things he had wished for, she was sleeping so peacefully, her head rested in his arm, never would he have believed she'll be this close to him.., not after the way she rejected him...

He glance at her face and kiss her forehead, a smile erupted from the corners of his lips, it was still like a dream to him, even in his widest imagination, he never would have believed such a thing will come to pass, but it did, and once in his life, he felt the need to do something, something he hasn't thought about for a long time... Get married..

Adesa stood for a couple seconds making sure the guards were down, when she was fully convinced the drugs had done it's work, she tiptoed, heart racing speedily threatening to burst out of her chest.., she has made her decision and there was no turning back now, she stepped over their sleeping bodies and slid the door open.., her heart skipped when she saw Katherine lying helplessly on the bed.., she quickly shut the door and rush to her side..

"Princess.. "She called out faintly.. "Princess please wake up.. "

Katherine pains flashed through her eyes,her face closed in a grimace..

"I've come to get you out of here.. "Adesa stated with pants breathe, she hurriedly reached for the ropes she was tied with and began to untie them..

"Adesa.. "Katherine whimpered.. "The guards.. "

"You need not worry, i drug them, they're fast asleep.. "

Head spinning, Katherine stood up from the bed as Adesa finally untied the ropes..
Both girls ran towards the door, only to open it and find the greatest shock of their life.., Adesa took two steps backward as the guard eyes standing at the doorway dug into theirs..

The guard stare at the ones on the floor and reverted his gaze to Katherine... "You really think you can escape from here..., there is no escape for you princess.. "He added walking towards her..

A strong wave of bitterness and great anger washed over Katherine but she stayed still weighing the pros of cons of all the possible way of escape..

"You little LovePeddler.. "The guard dared..

Her mouth went hard making her fist clenched, everything king Jafar has done to her flashed in her eyes and she quickly pounce on the guard..

The unexpected attack pushed the guard off balance, before he could stand up to maintain his balance, it was already late, Katherine had taken his sword, when the guard saw her eyes, he knew right there what was coming to him..

She remenbered her father's execution and hot tears rolled down her cheek, heart pounding, rage taking hold of her, she thrust the sword into the guard's stomach...
She pull it out when the guard fell to his knees, she sniffled and more tears rolled down her cheek reminding her of how she was defiled, it angered her more, pushed her to the edge, the sword firmly in her hands, she cut off the guard's head..

The sudden shock terrified Adesa, she held her hand to her mouth to stifle any scream, body trembling she watch blood flow freely on the floor..

"Adesa... "

When she raise her gaze to face her, she was a different person, not the princeas she had known and served for years..

"Save yourself Adesa..." She sneered, rage bleaked in her eyes "Am going to kill Jafar.. "

Katherine is making a huge mistake if she think she can kill jafar by herself.she should be better follow adesa, vuga or francis(whoever gets to her first but I'd prefer she go with vuga because vuga seem clever although silver hasn't show much of adesa sha so I don't know about her strength and weaknesses).Katherine,be smart girl, you can't take on king jafar single-handedly save your life first.



Kess,marrying Sonia will screw you up.the cops are unto you.



As for pious,i believe he has no idea what's brewing,if dillian's uncle has half the intelligence of Carlos(which I believe he has, the way he was able to get dillian to safety when the police came to his house is nothing but pure intelligence)he'd add two-and-two together and figure something out,then pious is in for another attack.

"No princess.. "Adesa cower from the headless body on the floor.. "It's too risky, what we ought to do is leave before anyone sees us.. "

Hyperventilating, Adesa waited for her, fires of fury and hatred were smoldering in her eyes but Adesa knew even with that anger, she doesn't stand the chance of defeating Jafar on her own, she didn't risk her life for her to give up her life.., She trembled and her next words choked her when she saw a glimpse of the guards about to approach them, heart pulsating, she took hold of Katherine's hand, she resisted but she didn't give her a chance of staying behind.., she dragged her out to a corner before the guards could see them..
Adesa wringed her hands as she watch Katherine shed uncontrollable tears..
"We need to leave.. "She said with pants breathe..

Katherine curl her lips, her eyes grazing the sword in her hand, the guard's blood still stained with it, she joined her hands with Adesa and they wrapped their fingers.., with tears soaking her face, she nodded..

"Ogini be with us.. "

Sharp pain lanced through Cassandra's head and colorful spots flashed in front of her eyes when she tried to stand up,.her eyes were now swollen from lack of sleep, her face closed in a grimace as she sat up and lean her back on the wall..
Her eyes fused on the three thugs who were laying on the far end of the room, she had no idea if they were truly sleeping or they were just waiting for her to make a move..
Her lips quivers when she realise escape was a very distant word from her head, there was no way she's going to free those chains from her wrists..
Her eyes lour down to the chain that had form a circled injury in her wrist, Pious was an animal, he's even worse than her husband...

She tried to lie back then but the fear of one of them touching her laced her head driving away every ounce of sleep from her eyes.., she sniffled, hot tears soaked her eyes but she didn't give them the right to fall down .....
She thought about her son and all the accusations laid against him, a part of her screams at her that he didn't do it but another part speaks the contrary..., she wonder if anyone has realise she's missing, she prays someone has...
She was inclined to shout but she knows before the thugs with her will shut her up before her voice reach the ears of anyone who can help her...

Her breathe quickened when her phone began to ring again, it could be Ali calling again, she just pray he figures out she's been abducted by the brute who calls himself the king...
She took a deep breathe to calm her panic when the ringtone drew the thugs attention, her eyes enlarged when Don pick up the phone and jumped to his feet..
Her teeth chattered in fear when Don began to approach her with the phone, she didn't flinch, didn't show him the satisfaction of seeing her fear...

"Who owns this number that keeps calling you..? Don queried poking the phone bright screen in her eyes..

The number wasn't saved and she wonder who it was..

"Is this your son..? Don balled into her thoughts and his thunderous voice made her shivered but she didn't show it, she needed to be bold even if fear was terrorizing every part of her..

"Could this be his number instead of the one you saved as Dillan..? Don riposte

"How would i know if i don't answer it.. "She sneered..
She hear Don groan and it startled her...

"You do realise that you'll die within 24hours if your son doesn't show up.. "Shedrack chimes in walking close to her..

"You've called my son countless times, it's not my fault his number is switched off.. "

"Listen here woman.. "Don scowled grabbing her neck..

Cassandra gasped and her words choked in her throat but she managed to look at his eyes..

"The reason you're still alive is because the boss wants you to, if it were up to me, you would be dead.. "

She didn't reply, didn't want to, she was too weak to exchange words with a deranged person like him.., she cough when he let go of her..

"You're going to answer this call and if it turns out it's Dillan calling, you will tell him you need him to come to Akpatu for an important discussion.. "

"Do you think my son is that foolish to buy that.... ?

"Do whatever you must to convince him to come here, else it will be you who will have to pay for his sins.. "

"Am still going to die.. "She retorted..

Irritation sliced through Dons chest as the phone began to ring again, anger churning within him, he answer the call and put it on speaker..

They waited, their eyes fused on the phone, Cassandra wanted to speak up but she wanted to know who called before she starts screaming..

Just then, the voice of the person she was so scared will call came up from the other end..

"Mum.. "Dillans hoarse voice sounded..

Her heart froze, she tried to breathe but it was impossible, why did he call, not giving a damn about her safety, she screamed the unthinkable.. "Dillan don't come, they'll kill you.."

Annoyance brewing over Dons skin, he ended the call...

"What's wrong with you woman..? Jonathan hollered..

"Man... "Don muttered, anger stenched in his voice.. "Call the boss, tell him she just delivered the message in the wrong way.. "

jafar quickly sprang up from the bed the moment the knock stormed his room door again..
Infuriated, he pushed the door open set to deal with the person disturbing his sleep..

"Your majesty.. "The guards leader stated..

"How dare you obstruct my good rest..?

"We're sorry your majesty, the princess has escaped.. "

"What.., how did that happen..?

"She cut off one of the guards head and ran off.. "

Jaw rooted, Jafars hands balled into a fist... "Sound the warning bells, block all exists from the palace, i want her found.. "

Feancis heart skipped as the guard's voice echoe in his ears...,heart throbbing he stopped walking and turn to face the guard, shock swept through him when he realise they were Three, how come he didn't notice, perhaps his mind was filled with the thoughts of rescuing Katherine...
He took two steps backward when one of them panned a firelamp in his face...

"Are you trying to go inside..? The guard asked..

That was the idea, go in, find Katherine and get her out of here once and for all, the palace walls were still as he remembered them.., he look away only to know the guard's question was still hanging in the air...

"Don't you know the king has chosen specific guards to guard the main building.. "The guard added

Francis heart sanked, he thought of all possible excuses but no reason came, his head was blank... "Well actually.. "He pants raising his head to meet their gaze.. "There is this girl i fancy so much, i promise to go to her this night.. "

"Oh-O..!, the boy likes a girl.. "

Francis eyes narrowed as the rest burst into laughter..
Another guard drew closer to him and Francis wince, his heart pounding hard against his chest.., he turn away his face as the guard took the firelamp close to his face..

"Why does your face look so familiar..? The guard asked and Francis froze...

He look away wondering if he didn't fix the metal helmet well..

"Look at his face.. "The guard said.. "Does he not look like that boy..?

"He's wearing a helmet man.. "Another guard interjects... "How can you identify his face with the helmet.. "

"Remove the helmet.. "The guard ordered

Francis heart throbbed in his ears, loud and irregular shaping different thoughts in his head, he was about to defend himself when the bell sounded..

"The warning bell.. "A guard muttered.. "What could be wrong.. ?

Francis sigh, a sigh of relief when they took off.., he look around, his eyes met the guards running around, what could be wrong, has Vuga be caught?
Not wanting to hear the answer to his question, he proceeded, his feet brazed the building threshold and he assured himself, it was now or never.., no matter what happens, he's getting Katherine out..

Her mouth opened in a silent scream and her unblinking eyes popped like an fashioned toy doll. A bead of cool sweat dripped down her back and her skin became as pale as the knife blade that flashed before her...

"Ogini be praised.. "The rest priestesses echoed in unison..

The dark priestess walked close to him, she cut her palm and let the blood drop on his forehead..., she mumbled words to herself and lay her palm on his head.... "Arise from your slumber o blood racca, your god awaits you..."
