Houses around that area are in clusters. Something should be done about it. #itafaaji is a clear example of such. Once there is a problem with 1 building It affects other houses around i.e fire

Yes, it should be demolished. According to the laws set up by the government and other stakeholders in the construction industry, there should be a minimum of 3m at the sides and back of the house to the boundary line while the front should be 6m

And this got to front page? Which kain mods we get sef?

Op kindly cross over the Lagos to see houses lapping each other on Lagos Island.

Or get a visa visit some cities in the US and see houses literally blocks with different houses with no space at all by their side... Its not how close that matters but the structure and the materials used in the construction.

hmm so I wonder where the ventilation comes from.
for those residing in those rooms.
the problem with Lagos is that there is no land again..
the place is as congested as congested can be.
ogun state is so slow, if not they should become the next Lagos by now..
up till now they cant fix the traumatic light issue in the mowe ibafo axis.
ogun state is not serious..

OK. But learn to mind your business @op, it will help u alot.
People like you make me sick. Why didn't you ask those at the collapsed building site to also mind their business. Report evil and help the society, you may suffer the pain tomorrow.

Why are these buildings in Borno Way, Ebute Metta, Lagos so close to each other?

They are so close that someone in a room on one of the upper floors can extend his hand to collect salt, of his lips to collect a kiss, from another person in the other building.

There are reasons why buildings should not be this close. From privacy issues to fire incidents. Or in case one of the buildings collapses.
na your type wet of them cross my way I no dey waste time to pay boys to beat till u faint. What did the owners do to u

Not true.
The person who followed the recommended building code set back as required by the law, should be left alone.
