According to a report, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has fixed Wednesday, 20th of March for the completion of voting exercise in 6 Local Government Areas of Rivers State. It should be recalled that the country’s electoral body during the 2019 Governorship and State Assembly Election, which took place on Saturday, March 9, suspended voting exercise in this areas. The electoral body also reacted to the acts to the thwart the will of the people which was expressed during the Governorship and State Assembly Election.
