Have you ever been stung by a bullet ant or you have accidentally suffered from a fractured bone, and you ever wished you never went out of your house that particular day, and the worst part of it is that, you couldn’t do anything to succumb the pain but wait for the medication to work which surely took couple of hours.

Or you are that lover boy or girl and you are so soft heartened that you fall in love at the sight of every sexy figure very easily, but unfortunately you are always getting betrayed from your partner or lover all the time. Perhaps you are that mother that loss your child at a very tender age but you still feel the pain whenever you remember what led to the death of your young lovable child, even if it four decade past.

And if you are lucky not to have experienced any of the above real-life occurrence, I am very sure you know what it means to be found in any of them, how devastating it can be and how painful it can also be when life throws them at you.

Did I mention pain? , Yes and that is where I am going; the positive of experiencing pain.

Pain is a personal experience or a condition which cannot be shared with others, it a grief, distress, dissatisfaction or a result of a physical injury. However, pain can be physical, mental, psychological or even emotional, but the instances cited above are both physical and emotional pain.

But why do we feel pain?

Yeah! This a question many people are still trying to demystify as they are still uncomfortable about the inevitable nature of pain, probably they don’t know that pain is an essential part of our lives as it is one of the things that is still keeping us alive till this moment. If you don’t feel pain, you will die earlier than expected as you will be ignorant of what is going on your immediate environment.

Imagine for one second you are bitten by a venomous snake, but due to your inability to feel pain, the venom finds its way into your body system, and it tends to paralyze your system, obliviously your system fails and you die. What is the main cause of your sudden death? Your inability to feel the pain of the snake bite

Pain, they say is like a thread which is practically inextricable from a fabric (life), attempting to tear it out unravels everything else with it. Pain is actually an emotional, biological or psychological signal designed to nudge you in the direction of a positive change, pain is what reveals the real you to you and you must know this today that Pain is crucial in your life.

Pain is what teaches you what is right and what is wrong, it what tells you that a hot stove shouldn’t be touched, it is what shows you how life is, it brings clarity, it increases your capacity and tenderness during frustration, it is what tells us that happiness comes from nothing but solving our problems and not running away from them, and that is why I often tell people that happiness is a result or a reflection of a particular problem which has been solved.

Finally, there is no word of encouragement for anyone experiencing a pain or the other than to face their problems and solve them as running away from your problem is an irresponsible way of leading your life. May God help all those experiencing a pain.
