Could the whole thing be a factory defect? Would make sense as to why some people claim to never have experienced it - their cars just weren't affected. Ball joints may just be one piece of the puzzle.

Or am I off the mark completely?

nope tpo seems to know his onions as well as launcher

Toyota reliability is still good, but their overall quality has gone down the toilet. They just feel so cheap and outdated. Nissan hasn't been known to be super reliable by the general public in a very long time. Everyone kinda forgets about them anyways. Subarus don't have too many major issues other than their performance cars, but Honda's reliability has definitely been declining. I find myself working on more and more broken late model Hondas.

None?

Then is it that Honda is ahead of Toyota globally when it comes to vehicle sale.

For instances, in the US and Europe Honda is more common than Toyota
