The atrocities within the school premises of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) in Delta State has risen to its climax after a 100 level student was robbed and stabbed, yesterday, with two weeks to her exams. She was brutally attacked by armed robbers, beating her to a pulp and stabbing her several times before eventually absconding from the scene of the attack.

However, the students of the university are holding the school management accountable for lack of taking proper precautions as regards security issues within the school premises despite the unceasing robbery attacks going on in the institution.
