OPENING FOR A SENIOR EXECUTIVE - MARKETPLACE OPERATIONS A bold and ambitious new entrant into the Nigerian retail sector requires the services of a vastly experienced Senior Executive for its Marketplace Operations. Only individuals who are a strong fit for the roles/requirements listed will be considered. ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and execute strategies to exceed marketplace sales goals • Hiring, training, and leading a team of marketing executives and associates who will manage all day-to-day activities of several marketplace clients, including data-mapping, channel strategy, reporting, and client management • Developing strategic relationships at each marketplace to learn about best practices, pilot programs, new opportunities, or policy changes and finding ways to improve sales for our clients • Assisting in the development of a strategic roadmap for the Marketplaces business, including desired development path of technical solutions, new business processes, and overall marketing strategies to deliver increased revenue at a lower operating expense. • Assisting in business development activities related to selling marketplace services to clients/prospects • Increasing the volumes of merchants by: a) promotion across multiple channels including social media and blogs; one-on- one discussions at weekend markets, trade shows and other events b) Improving the volume of listing merchants c) helping the company focus on certain categories • Develop analysis to track Sellers performance. Create goals and strategies to realize positive growth for each Seller. • Provide crucial guidance to Sellers in marketing and listing optimization, search engine optimization, inventory management, shipping and fulfilment strategy, risk management, and other strategic and operational needs to insure operational excellence. • Work with seller support, Operations, & IT to communicate any Seller technical issues and ensure immediate resolution. • Partner with Business Development team to explore gaps within Marketplace assortment and target new prospective Sellers • Leading the communication with and amongst the Marketplace • Account Management, including assisting merchants with accounts queries, shop set up, and other service related issues and pin pointing merchant shop management difficulties and leading the solution EXPERIENCE • 10+ years of experience managing a high volume call center or similar customer service function in the consumer products industry • Bachelor’s degree in any related field from an accredited institution. • Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding environment • Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills • Strong conflict management skills • Strong problem solving and resource management skills • Strong Product and Analytical skills • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities; • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams; • Strong business analytics, relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills; • Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative Please send detailed resume along with a passport photo to: recruitmentfold@gmail.com |
