Ameachi should go and rest, he that almost dried Rivers state cash.

Nigeria should've been a great country but for tribalism, religion etc. Even the educated ones will fall for tribalism and religion.
It's either you are not from Rivers State or you just hating Amechi for you to think that he dried up Rivers State money.

None sense. Modern concept with so much unintelligent implementation. When machines are involved, there will be very little chances of corruption.

Problem: ticket racketeering.
Why?: Humans are involved.

Solution: No humans should sell tickets! Tickets should be bought through vending machines!
All these nonsense will stop.
one way or other, corruption will set in. This is Nigeria.

You will still complain if they sack those people and replace them with machines.

see your suya mouth! account for the billions of naira that was used in bringing the lifeless one on, then we will take you seriously

Has Wike accounted for the billions he gave Fayose to buy votes in Ekiti?

What about the billions he has been spending on pdp all these years?

Again, Wike spent billions trying to make Tambuwal pdp presidential candidate so he can be his vp

I don't expect u to see all the above because they were done under the evil umbrella

I doubt if we are ripe for automatic ticketing in this country. Whether you like it or not, we cannot do everything the way it is done in the western world.
You are talking about automatic ticketing at a train station, when people can seldom dispense fuel to themself at a gas station.
I stand corrected, automatic ticketing at train station can be very delicate, I’ll rather go to the ticket counter to purchase my ticket in cash. Not to talk of most people taking these trains are not well equipped educationally for this things. Is it people that can hardly withdraw money by themselves at an ATM machine you’ll tell to go and buy ticket from a machine at the train station? That being said, not being automatic still creates more employment.

Eventually they will learn . It's not rocket science .

Only in Nigeria. Systems that work flawlessly in other countries will always be marred by the Nigerian factor. And we are wondering why the country is so backwards. What's the use blaming corrupt politicians when they can learn corruption from the masses.

This is what all minsters should be doing, paying unscheduled visits........... Not playing to the gallery......

Not telling them months ahead...... With sirens blaring and building painted, toilet cleaned etc etc, on anticipation of the March visitor..........

Good move from Amaechi ,however , this railway racketeering will still continue . I will advice Amaechi to send some of his trusted guys to go uncover as passengers in a month or 2 months time to this same place. That is when he can really root this out of the system

Just now just now racketeering don start! shocked

Can't we do something normal for once?!!! People will soon run this one down again and then start shouting that we don't have a good rail system!

The problem you mentioned here happens in other countries. If a person is confused as to how to buy a ticket in london for example there are station attendants to explain and help and before you know the person is a pro at it. We really should stop putting ourselves down. Use the ticket vending machines and all this will stop.

Hard working minister who's serving us well. Can't Nigerians do without shady dealings ?

this is it.
most often we blame the government for inefficiency but the truth is only few individuals are in governance while those that are the real frustration are government workers (civil servants).
even if government is genuine they would undermine every effort made to make the system work.

You don't know Nigerians. sad Those NRC staff will ensure that they buy up most of the tickets, and create artificial scarcity. Or they might ensure the vending machine breaks down frequently, without taking steps to fix it. This will bring everyone back to square one. No be Naija we dey? Our people know how to frustrate good initiatives.

The solution is to put the vending machines in the hands of private companies, and set targets for them on how much they need to remit to NRC monthly, or offer them commissions on the numbers of tickets sold through those machines.

We are ripe for it. sad But the govt should ensure that private companies are placed in charge of such automated vending machines, not the corrupt NRC officials.

Many Nigerians know how to use an ATM card. Many more are quite familiar with the use of a GSM phone. If Nigerians can use such things successfully, why won't they be able to use a ticket vending machine?

All that needs to be done is to educate people properly, on how to use it. Chikena!

Then you should know the role Wike played, in trying to remove Amachi the sitting governor in 2014 that lead to election violent and killings that had lingered till date. Majority of companies have relocated from Rivers State. So how do Amechi now dried Rivers State money?

He single handedly sponsored Buhari election campaign with Rivers state money, that was the main reason he was appointed the chairman of PMB presidential campaign team.

Yes because Wike and Patient Jonathan were bent on frustrating Amechi by all means, that was the only way he overcame their evil. the money Amechi was using to build/complete the projects in the state etc Wike and Patient Jonathan prevented it.
The money Wike have wasted on Judges and PDP
is even more.
