The build-up to this year's FIFA Women's World Cup has seen the best preparation for the Super Falcons since 1991, and it has even been likened to the attention Gernot Rohr's Super Eagles was given in the build up to the 2018 World Cup in Russia. According to NFF's Women's department chief, Aisha Falode, the preparation has been thorough, and it will be fair to expect a certain level of excellence from the team.
