As we all know, Oloris are very influential, especially among women, in their respective communities but such an amazing human resources has been highly underutilized. They now champion the cause of birth restoration in their respective communities.

The First Lady of Ondo state Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu at a Stakeholders' Meeting on Birth Registration. Her Excellency expressed sadness on the inadequacy of Child Birth Registration. " It is very sad to note that in our country Nigeria, the birth of more than half of children under the age of 5 are not registered while only one woman who has a child under age 5 knows the procedure of registering the birth of that child"

The case of also worst in Ondo state, that in the whole South West, only 68% of our children are registered. This implies that almost half of under five children in Ondo state are not considered in socio-economic planning and are therefore at risk of lacking access to basic social amenities that can ensure adequate child development which greatly affect the socio-economic development of the state.
