Before you react to this, first out sentiment aside. The church has every right to do whatever it likes on its property. I can only feel a bit concerned if they didn't warn the traders beforehand. However, Remember Jesus didn't warn those traders who turned God's temple into a market place before he flogged them away from the place. If you put sentiment aside, you will see that we are currently living lawlessly in Nigeria. We have Keke drivers blocking the entrance of a street just because they are looking for passengers. Market women cover half of a busy road causing traffic just cos they want to sell their wares. Danfo buses parking and picking up passengers anywhere as if they don't have bus stops anymore. This illegality has turned our brain upside down that we now frown at measures use to curtail them. I won't be surprise to see Christians criticize the church for what it did which Jesus Christ also did. 22 Likes 1 Share |

gistfever: i know nigerians will be quick to condemn Dunamis but i would hold traders responsible. When the church wasnt there, did they sell anything? Did they approach the church? We take undue advantage at everything even if it at the community expense and they cry foul when it affects them. the church surrounding is not a dedicated market place. If they want to sell to the church congregation, let them approach the church for space. Afterall, when e happen finish, na them go still abuse the church forgetting when they were profiting from the church |
