This is a thread to highlight the scams that people perpetrate here as well as how to protect and prevent others from falling victims to the same scammers or other would be scammers. Please make sure you have concrete proof of the scam as this is not a smear campaign to tarnish anyone's image. Let's endeavor to do due diligence before entering a venture with anyone as this wouldn't have happened if I just but did a little background check.
Of course, I have been a victim and I still see this particular scammer parading himself whilst looking for more victims. Feel free to share your experiences.

Here is my story. I'll be brief.
It always starts with seeing a number in any thread and initiating a convo. I saw this particular user "IDOVICE" who claimed he has been enjoying huge success with sport trading as opposed to sport betting. In all fairness to him, he did say the success rate was about 75% which I believe is super fine. So he asked that I fund my account and I would share the password with him so he could trade with it. He also did assure me that it was impossible for anyone to withdraw money from my betting account, little did I know that anyone with access to your betting account especially bet9ja can actually do a customer to customer transfer especially if you have never used it before. All he needs to do create a pin and voila, your funds are gone with the wind. Long story short, I checked my account to see the bets placed only to find none. I confronted him and he said it's one software trading, that tripped of an alarm in my head. Till tomorrow the guy doesn't reply to my chats or answer his phone because I somehow managed to dig up his real contact. His other username is EMMYBUSKO and recently he came up with FOOTHBAUL. His real name I discovered is Emmanuel Boluwatife Ariyo. And his bet9ja id 2896276. His picture is attached also. Please share with as many as possible.
