abzz889: Thanks. My 2 cents; give them some space; at least a year, spend your holidays somewhere else in the rest of the world in the meantime (e.g. Europe). |

thelaw5050: Read the thread. No one can say exactly about your chances. You may have perfect circumstances and not speak clearly at the interview, etc. Reading the thread will give you the opportunity to assess your preparedness and also to know what to do (not). That said, if you do not have good travel history (together) and your business is not compulsorily US tied, now may not the best time. |

Thanks seyewest.... you sure pass. I appreciate the good deal of a ticket you got me. I flew B.A from Lagos to London and American Airline from london to NC through your assistance. Wouldn't have been able to get such deals without you. Though haven't met with you before but I trusted you enough to send cash to you for my ticket, and you didn't disappoint a bit. 7 Likes |

Yeah,Seyewest is good at what he does. My family flew B.A from lagos to London to Chicago(American Airlines) and finally st Louis. Again, back from St louis to phiadephia to London and back to lagos. It was our first time of travelling and his assistance made it easier for us. I was able to send my money to him because I read from 'nairaland' that he's trusted. He didn't dissapoint! Thank you Seyewest. JWTheocracy1: 2 Likes |

Hi guys I'm new here, I've read a lot and I've learnt somethings in my short read. But I want to ask a question that I don't seem to have seen anything on, maybe coz I've not gone thru all the threads, its quite a lot though. Who does one send an invitation letter to? The Visa applicant has a copy but does the person inviting need to send the letter to the embassy? I need to know asap as our interview is in two weeks. How is the issue of invitation letter done, we are going for a wedding. Thanks in anticipation of a quick response |

OfficialMrsJ: I will advice you not to stress yourself with letter of invitation especially if it's from family and friends, most time your interview is less than 2 mins and that letter carries no weight, what you should be worried about is your ''ties'' to Nigeria, those are very important. |

The Federal Government has slashed its visa application charges for citizens of the United States from $180 to $160. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the old amount comprised $160 as visa fee and $20 as “processing and expedient fees”. According to the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mr Muhammad Babandede, the reduction followed a review of the U.S.’ visa reciprocity policy for Nigeria. So is this the start to the end of Reciprocity Fees 1 Like |

Olyonn: Did anyone file immigrant visa for you? I'm asking cos you made reference to it. If yes, please don't bother going to the embassy for non immigrant. At least for now |
