the sun of april 27, 2007 has expressed the regrets of obj over his failure to fix electricity problem in the country within his eight years in aso rock.
in his words, he said, if he has another opportunity to rule nigeria, he will tackle electricity earlier than he did this time.
is someone saying something about this

Appologetic failure. What good are the so-called reforms if Nigerians are in the dark?

That is very interesting, but not suprising. When Chris Uba rigged the 2003 elections, he apologized.

I am hereby advocating that the National Assembly should move a motion for Apology Bill. This bill will be signed into law so that all one needs to do is to apologise.

Example, Alamaesiegha should be released so that he can apologise, just as Mr President is yet to explain what happened to the monies pumped into the power sector, Alamaesiegha will have no need to explain what he did with Bayelsa's money.

Dear Mr President, please take your apologies to the moon, we dont need it.

they just want to kill alamasiya maybe because he dressed like a woman.
nothing happened to balogun who was the chief security officer of nigeria and was caught stealing so why alamasiya.
Goodluck is reaping the fruit of his labour as he is now the vp for a well played game.
Yar adua should watch out for Goodluck for another saleout.

Useless man!!!! Could not tar the road to his Otta roach farm!!!  He should be prepared to hand over the keys to all his loot to Y'ardua to compensate Atiku.  He had only N20,000 in his account in 1999 before he was pushed into power by the Arewa Mafia.  He should have only N20,000 with him now! Thief!!!No net gain, no net loss! cool 8 years out of 47 years of 9ja's existence.

Ghana is celebrating 5 straight years of uninterupted electricity supply and this ape is apologizing. After making generator sellers hold Nigeria at ransom with all the kick backs he got from them for blowing off all the functional transformers in Nigeria. OBJ, your reward is coming. You have not started apologizing yet!

What Obasanjo was saying was he wished he paid more attention to the generation aspect of the electricity issue. It's not as if he didn't do anything at all; he met 1900 MW in 1999 and brought it up to 4000 MW at one point, but that is just insufficient for a country the size of Nigeria.

We just hope the government will attain the 10,000 MW goal (for now) that it has set for itself.

Gnature,
you must be competing with the likes of osuofia and Ibu in the comedy world.
are you interpreting the news we read or did u have a seperate interview or chat with obj on this?
he did something and eight years was two small to give nigeria power. does it mean, the money is not there or there is no company to handle that?
he concentrated his campaign on power supply but after eight, he expressed his regrets and appologised so what we are saying now is that yar adua campaigned with the same power supply, will his own term do the same and end up appologising at the end of his tenure(s).
u said he did something about the pwoer supply, so also did he do on our roads, on over our security, over the worst elections conducted so far in the history of nigeria.
he did same on his selective justice and political intimidation of oponents.
his political dominance made politics the most lucrative bbusiness in nigeria today as the only recognised group in nigeria are oplicticians.
no wonder all field of proffessions have lost a good number of their people to politics.
no wonder all government parastatals have been sold including nnpc.
pls tell us what will be the duties of the aso rock occupants if their is nothing to be managed by government

chidichris,

Next time, read my previous post thoroughly before responding to it.

I said he met 1900 MW and brought it up to 4000 MW, but it still fell short of national demand. In other words, he didn't do enough as far as power generation goes.

please tell us what will be the duties of the aso rock occupants if their is nothing to be managed by government

I really can't figure out the basis of this question. What do you mean by "if there is nothing to be managed by government" ?? Where is this coming from ? Did I say anything to this effect ? I suggest you read my post over and respond to it because what you have written has nothing to do with my post.
