DR. PETER SINGABELE HAS OFFICIALLY MET WITH THE ORGANIZERS OF BAYELSA KIDS CUP TOURNAMENT 2019
AND THANKED HIS EXCELLENCY HON HENRY SERIAKE DICKSON FOR THE LOVE FOR GRASSROOT SPORTS.

The CAF Medical Committee Member, and a major stakeholder in the Nigerian football sector Sir. Dr. Peter Singabele meeting with the organizers of the 2019 Bayelsa Kids Cup tournament was a fruitful one where he made some pledges to take part in the Grassroot Football Development by supporting and making sure the 2019 Edition comes to achievement.

He made this known in a brief meeting with the president of Yenagoa City Football Academy, Mr. Ada Gwegwe who is the founder of the tournament, stressing that Ada Gwegwe is a legend as far as grassroot football is concerned, that if we have people like him in the super eagle assisting or even coaching, we will go a very long way.

Singabele who told Nolly TV Africa reporter in the State about how Mr. Ada Gwegwe has been very helpful to young footballers both in the state and outside Bayelsa state. He further appreciated Ada for always meeting up with the hosting of the Bayelsa Kids Cup annually.

The veteran said people like Mr. Ada Gwegwe really needs to be commended for a job well done with an award by the Nigerian Government, especially in the state (Bayelsa) and should be given the opportunity to become a consultant to NFF on Grassroot Football Development because of his wide range of grooming young footballers and also his numerous awards in Grassroot football.

Singabele also used the opportunity to thank the Bayelsa State government for consistently supporting the tournament that the Governor is a true lover of sports
