i can relate with mutter when it comes to being sexually abused or similar instance as a child.

long story short, what he did hurt me cos i liked martina a lot and all what we suspected he did to her, he wanted to do to me, and we both went to report him to the head mistress. it was at this point that many other girls in my class came forward and reported the abuse by Mr. Samuel on them.

the dude was fired and Martina had to be withdrawn from the school but i and others remained.

^^^ So sorry to hear your story, i am begining to HATE Black men for real ~shakes head~

HATE is too powerfull an emotion my brother and all it does is cloud your thinking, I myself am Zimbabwean and went through abuse but at the hands of women from our maids to my teachers in primary school!!

I think we as africans have to look at ourselves and be brutally honest with articulating all that is wrong with us as a people!

We need to be aware of the grievious psychological damage we do to our children and ourselves as a people by turning blind eyes to the terrible things that happen within our societies. We can no longer bury our heads in the sand and pretend these abuses are not happening, we cannot continue to run away from our motherlands and our responsibilities to our future generations.
We need to start talking about these problems teach our children to report any untoward look gesture or touch from anybody especially some of these close family members.
We need to get communities involved and set up structures in our villages towns growth points and cities!
We need to lobby our governments force them somehow through amendments of constitutions and institutions to deal with this cancer that stalks us relentlessly!
Those found guilty nomatter who they are need to be dealt with severely and be made an example off, their victims should also be given proper counselling so that they grow up with a healthy state of mind!
