Don't expect us to praise their efforts for doing the job they're being paid for. angry

If there's discipline and everyone is competent in their various engagements, there'll be enormous growth and progress! cool

Anyway, good job!

Oga director, thank you for a job well done is not a crime.
Saying thank you to people who render services doesn't take anything from us. If my 5 yrs bring water from the fridge and I forget to say thank you he always remind me.and I do that to him too and evryone around me. My way of life anyways

There's no amount thay can be compared to a 40ft container bro. The owner may even be connected to the system so before he spend 200k to 300k all 'll be over

Well, I don't know much about Lagos. But my truck once had an accident that led to death . Apart from the money paid to the family and the one I paid for my driver, I spend around 250k to get the truck off police ...

Appreciation of efforts is different from praising!

You guys need to stop being petty menh. Yes, as you said, they are doing what they are being paid for, yet it wouldn't be out of place to appreciate their effort. Even in the US and other western countries that you guys always cite as examples, people still appreciate such effort despite being paid handsomely. So, let's give appreciation where it's due, to encourage them to do more.

I'm not condemning the appreciation of efforts NOT, praising them for their responsibility!

For clarification sake. Men of Lagos State Fire Service put out the fire not men from LRU Fire Unit, as we all can see from the pix (LAGS FIRE is written on their jackets). There's difference BTW Lagos State Fire Service and LRU Fire unit

Oga, please allow people that wants to appreciate to appreciate. Let people that want to sing praises, sing praises. Everybody's view cannot be the same. A simple "thank you" matters in life.

Saw this yesterday as it was happening. Model unit on the bridge tried so also the FRSC and Lastma. Kudos to all. It didn't cause much traffic though

Anyway, good job[/s]!

Product of poor upbringing up there.

I send my son on errands, I say "thank you".

My employees do their jobs well, I say "thank you", "good one", "well done!", etc.

I'm still alive, it hasn't killed me nor has it killed anyone I know of, rather, it makes folks strive to do more, feel appreciated.

There are legions of paid workers (private and public) in this country who ain't even putting in a quarter of the required effort in their respective jobs.
