Exposed: Nigerian Government Officers Re-looted $900 Million Of Abacha’s Looted by katakataNG: 12:57pm On Apr 02, 2019 |
According to details emerging, some certain Nigerian government officials re looted about 900 million dollars of Abacha’s loot between 2011 and 2013. They were said to have done so with the help of Britain’s JPMorgan Chase. Nigeria has filed a charge against the bank, JPMorgan for releasing the funds to the officials despite all warnings against it, due to laws against money laundering, demanding that they pay for damages. The bank in its defence however presented documents to court showing a signed agreement between the parties compelling them to act in accordance to the instructions of the Nigerian Government, even if the decision wasn’t to their best interest. The Nigerian government insists that the bank had not withheld reservations on matters concerning transferring funds to individuals linked with corruption.
