Lanre Babalola

Governor Kashim Shettima’s Borno State is unveiling Africa’s biggest Automated Solar Panel manufacturing plant aimed at setting the stage for the industrialisation of Borno State.

This is coming months after Borno residents complained of lack of power supply. The state govt has built the cheapest, best and biggest solar plant in Africa, beating South Africa and Egyptian large solar plants. At 40MW now and 150MW by 2022, it will supply stable power to their industries.

This should be a shame to all governors in the South especially the SS and the SE(excluding the Gov Umahi).

Borno is a state that has not experienced stable peace for over a decade but the governor has not let Boko Haram slow down his good plans for the state.

But what are we getting from states with the largest share of federal allocations? Aside the 13% derivation funds, taxes from IOCs and other IGRs? Little or nothing, better still, crumbs.

If you are from Delta Bayelsa, Rivers and you still support those who have been mismanaging your states in the last 20 years in the name of politics, then your so-called education is a sham.

See the news coming from the people we tag 'illiterates', 'Almajiris' and compare it to your kerosene sharing states.

the news is about north development and you still find a way to drag Igbo's and south south into it.

This Yoruba man, don't you have shame? Must you fight your fellow southerners to prove your loyalty to the Hausa?

This your epistle is unnecessary. So because of this singular achievement, they're now the best thing after fried rice and chicken?
Jokes apart - how does this singular work mean that Borno state is ahead of every other state in Nigeria? Your love for throwing tribal slurs against south easterners is disgusting.

No, it's fried rice.

That is the mindset you people have, EVERYTHING MUST BE FOOD & MONEY SHARING

No thinking of the future for our children, let the politicians just share the money, reason a lot of you supported Atiku and still supports the PDP.

The problem is you people don't owe your governments to account, only for you to come down the SW to overpopulate our inadequate infrastructure and also commit crimes.

Please show us the best public primary schools in Delta state, please.

Don't you get it? The Niger Delta states should be the most developed region in Nigeria after Abuja and Lagos going by what they earn.

Bayelsa with 8 LGAs shouldn't have any problem paying salaries and pensions but that state has backlogs while Kano, a non-oil producing state with 44 LGAs does not owe.

The SS & SE are the regions reinforcing failures, they elect governors who are not only owing but also doing nothing!!!

Igbos love to run to NL everyday to show us how BH is killing and blowing up everything in Borno, but regardless of the obstacles, Borno is actually doing better than their own backward and project-less ipob states.

God is good.
