Where Do I Report For My Estimated Nepa/IKEDC Bills to Be Reversed or removed??? by Nobody: 2:34pm On Apr 04, 2019
Hello!

After years and years of paying in excess of 10-12k of estimated ikedc bills, it was discovered after a recent investigation that my meter reading was not being taken.

For the past 6 months since they started taking my meter reading, my monthly bills never exceeds #500(five hundred naira).

I read a post somewhere on nl that someone sent an email to some organization in Abuja and they removed the accrued debts that arose from receiving estimates.

I’ll need your help please. I pay 5k + 2k reconnection fee every month and every month they cut my light saying 5k is too small.

I’ll need your help on this guys.

This is proof that they weren’t reading my meter. This was what they did that got me seriously pissed before I went to their office to cause a scene and hence the investigation.

Your meter might be faulty. Please go to your undertaking office. The address is on your bill. Then call their customer service number at 0700-022-5543. Or tweet at them @IEserve. Or you go to their Business Unit address.

My meter is not faulty. For the past 6 months they’ve been taking my readings and my highest bill so far is #912(nine hundred and twelve naira).

And it was after paying them a visit at their office and causing a scene they came to investigate.

N912 sounds like your meter is faulty. That should be less than 50 units. But what do i know. Call their customer service line abi na their Business Unit office and find out whats up.

I am a bachelor o. I don’t use fridge or freezer or ac. The only things I use is my tv, laptop, fan and energy saving bulbs. Am I supposed to pay 1m in bills for all those?

Besides, we share light. 5 days on 1 day off and out of those 5 days we don’t get up to 12 hours each day and mind you, I go to work and come back at night. Why then will my consumption exceed the assumed 50 units sef
