The Emir of Zuru in Kebbi State, Major General, Muhammadu Sani Sami, Gomo II, has pardoned two chiefs suspended from office in his emirate in 2015.

The two reinstated chiefs are the chief of Fakai Alhaji Hudu Dan Malan and chief of Danko Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim.

A press release made available to Akelicious in Birnin Kebbi signed by Abba Muhammad, the Publicity Relation Officer of Zuru Emirate Council says the emir took the decision after series of consultations with reavant stakeholders and consent of the state governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State to grant the erring chiefs pardon.

The emir in the press release also hoped that the action would serve as deterrence to others and called on the Chiefs to take faith and initiate policies that would bring development to their respective domains and the emirate at large.

Akelicious recalls that the two chiefs were suspended in August, 2015 by Fakai and Danko Wasagu Local Government Areas of Zuru emirate respectively.
