Recently I recieved a special request from Biola. She suggested I post one of my poems. I thought it would be better to post in a forum than to do on a blog so here it is. Everyone let me know what you think? Honest opinions would be appreciated. Depending on the response I get, I may post another. I am currently working on a second book, but it has been a slow process. Posted Image A Healed Heart It mattered not what I thought of me or whether I felt I had no more reason to be. Lonliness had destroyed me from the inside but you came to me and stood by my side. Bitter pain slowly killing my heart, my soul had been ripped apart. Agonizing pain could be seen on my face, I just wanted to leave this dark place. Then your loving light chased away the dark. Shining down upon my heart, your light created a tiny spark. Although extreme pain had suffocated my heart, you came to my rescue and gave me a fresh start. I never thought my heart could again be free, or a smile would I ever again see. However, your love and compassion started a fire. Now it is you whom I desire. |
