The Governor of Oyo State, Senator Ishaq Abiola Ajimobi, on Sunday directed the nine Honourables-elect of the House Representatives from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State to follow protocols so that Femi Gbajabiamila emerges the speaker of the ninth House.

This was instructed in a statement issued by Rep Akeem Adeyemi on behalf of the Oyo Reps Caucus. Governor Ajimobi gave this warning to the Honorable-elects in a meeting held in his residence on Sunday.

On behalf of the legislators, Rep Akeem Adeyemi, also the APC Southwest Coordinator of Gbajabiamila Speakership Campaign Council, responded with appreciation for his good leadership and promised their full cooperation.


Meanwhile, Rep Olusegun Adebunmi Bunvic pledged his unwavering loyalty to the party and promised to abide by the Party’s decision on the choice of Femi Gbajabiamila as the Speaker of the 9th Assembly.
