HIRING APPLICATION ARCHITECTS IN LAGOS

Our client in the telecommunications sector is looking to add a vibrant individual to its team for the role of an Application Architect.


Location: Lagos


Job Description

Broad knowledge of the business processes within the Telecommunications sector especially as it relates to Financials, Project Management, Supply Chain and HR.
To supervise the administration and development of IS applications, maintenance, support and upgrades
To support, maintain and optimize the ERP applications, Provisioning Voucher management, Trade Partner’s Portals, and other related applications/services. This includes enhancing the procedures and processes associated with the operations and maintenance of business rules for all ERP modules
End to end impact analysis of new solutions and integration with ERP system. Accessing the impact on the existing integration with the Billing System, Virtual top-up, Provisioning Voucher management, Trade Partner Portals and other related applications/services
Monitor application development policies and processes in respect of ERP applications, and ensure that you comply with set standards
Develop and maintain proper documentation and blueprint of all IS applications.
Monitor and maintain the performance of ERP applications within the business and document improvement opportunities, as well as any technical constraints and process challenges.

Education:

First-degree Computer Science or a related field from a reputable institution
RDBMS Certification such as Oracle Certified Professional.
Unix/Windows training/certification.
Project Management training/certification
ERP (IFS, Oracle EBS/Cloud) Training.
Requisite training in team building and relationship management is desirable.
ITIL Foundation certification – desired

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years’ experience which should include:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; including experience in managing and supervising others
In-depth understanding of Telco infrastructure and processes.
Development skills in more than one programming language e.g. PL/SQL, VB.Net, Java
etc and industry standard RDBMS (Oracle or MS SQL).
Knowledge of ERP Applications (IFS, Voucher management, Hyperion, HR& Payroll,
Oracle EBS/Cloud).
