Omoyele Sowore, a quintessential Reporter, who was the Presidential flag-bearer of the African action congress at the recent concluded general elections.

Sowore was speaking with a group of well-meaning Nigerians in a Town-hall meeting where he stated that the "Land use act" was smuggled into the Nigerian Constitution by Former President of Nigeria- Olusegun Obasanjo.



Sowore, further highlighted that since then Nigeria as a country has not had any progress. He further briefed everyone that what we need as a Nation is to return to "Land ownership"



The owner of SaharaReporters said "we must be careful as well as not to return to customary ownership of Land that we had in Nigeria before the time of independence, in which a majority of the citizen are left without land while a few people own land"



Sowore stated that he will review the 1999 constitution which he claimed as a fraudulent document which was been imposed on Nigerians by the Nigeria military, He suggested a new constitution for Nigerians, a living document that is discussed by the the Nigerian People and must also pass through a referendum, he said.
