Fans of the blockbuster series are in for a wild surprise as news emanating from HBO Headquarters hint at the possibility of a huge plot twist at the end of Season 8, as leeway for a potential Season 9 and maybe 10.

Game of Thrones Author George R.R Martin as well as show runners D.B Weiss and David Beinhoff appear to have agreed to extending the show for a further two seasons. However, it remains unclear what roles they will be playing – if at all – in the next phase of the series, which will be expanded using flashbacks and prequels based on both the old books as well as George R.R Martin’s short stories like “The Hedge Night”.

It has also been learned that the new seasons will be aired exclusively on Zee World, with Major actors leaving the show to be replaced by Bollywood stars, as part of the deal. So far, the only “confirmed” changes seems to be Priyanka Chopra coming on board to play Daenerys Targaryen and Amitabh Bachan playing the Night King.
