A federal high court which sat today in Akwa, Anambra State capital freed all the suspects linked to the Ozubulu massacre. The two remaining suspects identified as Chinedu Akpunonu and Onyebuchi Mbanefo who were standing trial for alleged involvement in the killing of worshipers in the Anambra, were discharged and acquitted after the prosecution counsel was unable to prove beyond reasonable doubt the allegations. 

Recall that the Judge had in December 2018, discharged two out of the four persons initially arraigned over the incident in which no fewer than 13 persons were killed at St Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu.

The Nigerian Police are fond of arresting innocent persons to cover up for their inadequacies. No wonder they could not prove beyond reasonable doubt that the persons they arrested were actually the killers.

The Nigerian Police do this all the time.

The real killers are still at large.
