WE DONT WANT TO COMPETE WITH NAIJA!!!!!How many times should you guys be told Kenyas population is wayy smaller than Naija so the cities and towns are smaller,Nairobis pop is 3.2 million, bigger cities doesnt mean better,Abuja is better than Lagos but smaller. But you guys have issues with yourselves, from slums,to race now to size,I wonder whats next, |

I didnt know Kenya had such beautiful sights. I flew Kenya airways once in 2007(just 3 days before a KQ plane crashed in cameroun), i wasnt impressed by the airport. The airconditioners werent working and the duty free shops didnt look nice compared to other airports i'd been to. The best is Dubai, then Thailand, Jo'berg(south africa), Hong Kong, China,Abuja & Lagos, But i MUST commend you for showing these pictures. The western worlds always show only the slums in Africa and make people believe that we still live in huts, caves, and trees. I urge my fellow african brothers and sisters to post more pictures of sights and peoples of africa. I hope to really visit nairobi some day. |

trason: To an extent i agree with you. Kenya for so long has had bad roads. Bt again it depends on when you were in Kenya. For the last 10 yrs Kenya has concentrated on improving our rural roads since majority of them are gravel and earth roads. Currently we hav eso many bituminization projects going on. Since our country depends on Agriculture and tourism alot of money is going to the opening up of rural areas. You will be amazed that most of our class E and D(Which are mainly rural roads are being tarmacked. For some time our highways have been undergoing periodic and routine maintenance, (as we divert money to rural) but now major road constructions are underway. For instance Thika Road is being expanded to 8 lanes and 2 serface lanes for bikers . once the road is constructed it will be on its kind in central and east Africa. Finaly Kenyan budget is too small, our economy is nothin compared to Naigeria. N if u put that into consideration, then u will b able to appretiate our roads. |

Re: Nairobi Photos (kenya): A Beautiful East African City by volina(f): 10:16am On Jul 10, 2009 |
naliakar: now u got that one right, our airport is very small, just like the size of our country and our budget.Thats why we feel that Nairobi is such a big city when compared with mighty countries and nig economies such as naigeria |
Re: Nairobi Photos (kenya): A Beautiful East African City by mwanamwiwa: 5:08pm On Jul 10, 2009 |
Dont bother Volina,i ve lost hope on convincing these guys we are not trying to compete, jivunie and dont bother replying to them.Imo,JKIA and Mutala are almost the same size but JKIA is more efficient and doesnt have frequent power blackouts yet our economy is wayyy smaller to theirs, |
