I almost forgot I applied for a certain NCS job

I heard the recruitment has been handed over to a recruitment agency who are going to select the most qualified applicants and that many customs officers don't even know the recruitment agency in question all in a bid to avoid prioritising mediocrity over competence.

But those that mean everything will start and end with the recruitment agency without involving some of the customs officers especially those in the service's HR?.

Firstly, I think the NCS is too big to use a recruitment agency, its just like the Nigerian Army using a recruitment agency.
Secondly, in a bid to avoid prioritising mediocrity over competence, won't that still become temptation to the agency to fall for the same thing being avoided by the NCS?

Hmmm...
...I knw Customs has a department knwn as Board which is headed by a DCG HRM (somtin like dat as at wen last am certain). The Board handles recruitment directly. To say this recruitment is been handled by an agency is totally awkward. Even if the PRO is creating that impression; am 100% certain Customs will not contract any agency to run recruitment when it has a department scheduled for that purpose.

There is no time these pple dnt give appointment letters, but those are replacement ...it doesn't stop this ongoing recruitment.

I don't know how NIS is structured; I only speak on Customs which am kinda familiar with. 2014/2015 I was a corper with Customs
