You can't rename a state university without the State House of Assembly.

He is named after an Institute because he funded it and there is nothing wrong with that. If you have your money, any university will name your project after you.

Garba Square in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the popular part of the university was name after the former Military Governor of Anambra that built that square.

Economics Department, NAU was named after Alhaji Isiaku or whatever that built that department.

Chike Okoli Institute of Entrepreneurship was named after Chike Okoli that donated the building.

Nnamdi Azikiwe Library in UNN was named after Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe that donated the books.

If you don't have the support of your people, where do yo think you are going politically ?

Rochas Okorocha's predicament should have thaught a him a great lesson, but no he wants to learn it in a bitter way.
He should know that no matter how he struggles, the perception they have on him and his people will never change. The same thing is applicable to some hopeless Igbos on this forum who are exhibiting foolishness all in the name being politically correct while addressing some delicate issues..
