How Can I Solve This Issue With Qservers? by Nobody: 10:25am On Apr 22, 2019
Hello guys, I recently got this email from Qservers, what is the best way to fix it without losing any of my posts, pages or settings on WordPress?

Re: How Can I Solve This Issue With Qservers? by Nobody: 10:39am On Apr 22, 2019
Bros, I believe this is not a Qservers issue but a WordPress issue. WordPress is an open source application and subject to constant hacks. When your files are hacked, it puts the server and other accounts on the same shared hosting at risk. The best thing is to clear those files off the server. However, if your account has not been suspended, you can back up your files and your databases but note that it's like carrying HIV around.
Whogohost and any other host would have done same.
If you use WordPress, you owe yourself an obligation to scrutinize every plugin and theme that you use.
In conclusion, I think anyone who uses WordPress should not call himseslf/herself a developer.

I've been doing nothing on my file manager. I suspect a plug-in is causing this.

Thanks for you reply.

My account has already been suspended. Is there anything I can do to get my posts back if they eventually clear everything off?

I suspect a plug-in named "Social Warfare" is causing this.

What do you suggest I do in this situation?

well am not a programmer anyway but i can just advice you check your wordpress if thats what you use. or if you are like me who tries so many plug ins, you should maybe disable the ones you are no longer using

If you have access to your client area, and you can access your phpmyadmin from there.
See if you can export your database files from there.
After that, you will need to google how to restore posts from a previous database (It is serious work, you might not be ready for it).

I have access to my client area but I don't have access to my phpmyadmin.

They are not even responding to my mails.

Below is the message on my dashboard.

Thanks bro. My website is back online now.

Thanks for your support sir.

My website is back online now and I have no idea of what they(Qservers technical support) did, but the website now back online without any of my files been affected.

I have so far deleted all plugins I suspected and also backed up my website in case this happens again.

Thanks once again smiley

Oga, someone just said Qservers Tech. Support helped him resolve an issue and you still asked him to move to another host. Which of the organs of your body do you use to read on nairaland?

I believe u lack wisdom...it's even obvious!

When my site was down for whole week, they resolved it after that week...so Becos of that I should still stick with them abi?

These Nigerian host are not reliable..although the fault is not entirely their fault but there are host that protects their server from malicious code!!

As a hacker, uploading backdoor usually don't work on all server...but all Nigerian site I tarrgetd were allowing it.no security what so ever.
So that guy was right, op needs to a reliable host where even plugins with malicious script won't work
Re: How Can I Solve This Issue With Qservers? by Nobody: 6:01pm On Apr 23, 2019
Bros, please don't let us start.
If you are an hacker, you will understand fully well that there is nothing an host (including bluehost) will do if a site owner himself gives access to a malicious code via a plugin he himself installed. Let's leave it at this.
It could be removed, but they can't stop what the owner has allowed in the form of an innocent code.
Let me educate you a little bit, everytime you say Nigerian host, always remember they don't have data centers here, so invariably, they are not Nigerian hosts. A lot of your websites are hosted in the US and INDIA.
You can google how data centers and web hosts operate.

Lol am telling that I have uploaded backdoor on some website and it gets deleted in seconds...that's server side security.

I have also bypassed a WordPress site, edited one plugin through the plugin editor and paste my script there...what happened? It got deleted in seconds.

So host has a lot to do when it comes to server security.

Do u know what Is server symlinking?

Its where a hacker hacks one site and uses a script to access all the site hosted on that server...so think again if u think host don't have a role to play in securing its servers.

Note: When a hacker brags about hacking 2000+ site, he didnt just hack those site one by one...he hacked one, then symlink the server to access the other sites on that server...

Moving to a reliable host is the way forward...

Stop using nullscripts una no go hear. If you are using a nulled script, test for malware before you upload
