What is wrong with these Nigerians?

Nigeria uses her crude oil export sales to maintain relationships with several countries and that is why they MUST export. It is the only thing the country has to export. Selling all 1.2 million barrels of crude oil daily to Dangote means Nigeria as a nation would now have almost zero exports.

THEY MUST EXPORT.

Is there a law that requires you must export oil as crude and not refined?

So you think our oil is being sold to foreign governments rather than companies in those countries?

If it is to maintain relationships with countries, how come we have several unsold cargoes even presently that we have to offer deep discounts in order to sell?

I don’t know whether you are deliberately trolling or your knowledge is embarrassingly limited.

[s]Rivers state and Bayelsa states aren't the only places Ijaw are found in Nigeria, occupational migration didn't affect the ijaws much, they aren't known not to be travellers. U yorubas sit down in ur homeland n talk about Nigeria, a nation u guys know nothing about. The case of ijaws being only from old rivers state(as their only homeland) is the same senseless arguements that u guys try to make about IGBOS, that IGBOS are only found in the SE.

Ijaws have long settled in several places in the whole SS thousands of years ago, it was Sharing of states that separated many Ijaw villages from Bayelsa n rivers state n joined them with Akwaibom, Ondo, Edo, Delta, etc. Same way state creation removed many IGBOS from SE n sent them to SS and middle belt.

Ijaw land doesn't mean old rivers, Ijaws can be found in other states there. Ijaws live across the whole riverine areas (close to the Atlantic ocean) in Rivers, Akwaibom, Delta, Ondo, Edo, etc......Ijaw have always lived among the waters.

Goan check ur map, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa and rivers states are all connected by land mass n before sharing of states, were mostly wiithing one or two region[/s]

Always trying to sensitize other tribes in the South against Yorubas...

All these efforts change nothing. grin

See daftness.

To even say that Ijaws were never even close to delta state clearly shows that u are among those Afonjas that have never stepped foot outside yoruba land.

Pls don't disgrace ur self any further.
That guy is absolutely right, it was fishing that lead ijaw to Delta south and ondo. In the 90s, they was no such kingdom as okenrenkoko, which the ijaw now claim to be their kingdom in Delta South.
They ijaw will come fishing, pay royalties to the host community, peach small tent by the River, yrs later they will go n bring their families and start expanding. That's how they have been able to penetrate Delta, Edo and ondo even down to Lagos.

There are Ijaw communities in Ondo state, Obasanjo forcefully added them to Ondo state to make SW an oil producing region. There's no crude oil in SW for now.

Ilaje local government is the place crude oil is produced in Ondo state. To the best of my knowledge, Ilaje are not Ijaws.

You post makes no sense whatsoever. What brings afonja into the discussion? Do you have nightmares on afonja every night. You seem to think of afonja day and night and related everything you see to afonja.

Otumara in itsekiri means " agrees with my body" it has no meaning in Yoruba.
Ehinmoghan means this is where I am, a Yoruba translation would be "e bi mo wa"

I cant really say the meaning of Ikorigho, but origho means head in itsekiri, so Ikorigho might mean a gathering of heads.

If the land originally belongs to the benis, why are they bearing itsekiri names. Lots of our lands were annexed to Benin and Ondo, especially the oil bearing ones. Even Igbokoda is an Itsekiri name. My father was councillor there in the first Republic.

Only the Afonjas who never cross SW in their entire lives rush online to shout that IGBO land starts n ends in SE, continue fooling urself. Over 50% of SS is IGBO, Igbo will forever remain the most populated Tribe in the SS. Online rants won't change a thing, it definitely won't bring 1 drop of crude oil into SW grin

It's annoying when you guys make false and misleading statements just to promote an agenda. The civil war was not necessarily fought to make sure igbos remain in the same country. Until the civil war, no one cared about the igbos. The civil war was as a result of power play within the military hierarchy. It finally boiled down to an ego contest between Ojukwu and Gowon. Ojukwu was not ready to take orders from Gowon - his junior.
It was the Igbos that brought us one Nigeria 6 years earlier. The other regions were not exactly thrilled with one Nigeria until the civil war.
