The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Chairman, Uche Secondus, on Friday alleged that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal government arm-twisted the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, into tampering with the result of the February 23 presidential and National Assembly elections. He made the claim while addressing a press conference entitled “Do we still have a government?” at the PDP Headquarters in Abuja. Secondus also stated that there was no evidence that President Buhari was in charge of the country. Lamenting over what he termed the worsening security situation across Nigeria, Secondus said President Buhari’s handling of the nation’s affairs had caused the country more harm than good. The level of arms displayed during the 2019 election is unprecedented in any election ever held in this country The Nigerian army played partisan politics in full glare and in disgust to well meaning Nigerians They threw caution into the winds! Nigerians watched hopeless as they raped our democracy over and over again!!! You need no super powers to tell you that this is no democracy but autocratic means of government!!! If there is justice in Nigeria, the Judiciary will do right by the masses They will declare the rightful owner victorious and not wait till he declares himself the winner so that what happened to MKO Abiola will not repeat itself!!! Buhari or whoever you are, do the right thing to prevent fake apologies in future!!! |
