The Nigerian Army on Friday destroyed 500 drums of adulterated diesel worth millions of Naira and two cars seized from smugglers in Jebs Community in the Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River. The smugglers were said to have absconded on sighting the army, leaving drums of diesel and two vehicles behind. The Commander of Operation Delta Safe, Sector 4, Col. B.A. Amakor, said: “We have 500 drums of diesel which is worth millions of naira and they are being destroyed alongside two vehicles which were used to perpetuate the act" Col. B.A. Amakor added that Operation Delta Safe was doing its best to safeguard Cross River, particularly the waterways to stop smugglers from carrying out their illegal activities. https://autojosh.com/nigerian-army-destroys-500-drums-of-adulterated-diesel-and-2-cars-in-calabar/ 1 Like |

Anyone ever heard of the army disrupting operations of illegal miners in Zamfara and other northern states? If so i’d like to hear of when and where, and the code name they gave the operation! Stupid and naive southerners don’t know they’re being seen as nothing but slaves! 21 Likes |

Open boundary in the North Open boundary in the West Closed and militarized boundary in better South. In Northeast, crossing to Cameroun is not a crime but is a death sentence in the better South. One Nigeria 11 Likes |

It's absolute stupidity for the Army to carry out this heinous act! Why should you endanger the life of people within that region by burning 500 drums of diesel and cars and yet still have the effrontery to brag about it on media?? Do they know the danger posed by the release of toxic fumes caused by the burning of these large volume of diesel? What happened to their thinking cap? Why didn't the Army instead recover these adulterated diesel and send them to the NNPC / Refineries to be properly refined? By that they would have saved the country some good money and also helped Nigerians to breathe good air and help them live longer! Common sense is actually not common, especially in Nigeria!! 21 Likes 2 Shares |

BOKO HARAM REPENTANTS ARE ADMITTED INTO THE NIGERIAN ARMY WHEREAS THE JOBLESS SOUTHERNERS WHO ARE TRYING TO MAKE ENDS MEET ARE RENDERED ECONOMICALLY BANKRUPT THROUGH DESTROYING THEIR PRODUCTS. WHERE ARE THE MODULAR REFINERIES? WATCH OUT, ONCE DANGOTE REFINERY IS FULLY COMPLETED, THE PETROLEUM SUBSIDY WILL BE REMOVED. |
