Inibehe Effiong, Human Rights Activist, has cautioned the Presidency to stop misleading Nigerians in a recent claim it made.

Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu, had claimed the president could rule the country from wherever he is. He stated this why answering a question on why his principal, President Muhammadu Buhari failed to notify the National Assembly of his absence from the shores of Nigeria.

Disagreeing with the presidency, the legal practitioner said the president cannot exercise the functions of his office outside his domain.

Mr Effiong had earlier told the presidency to come out clean regarding Mr Buhari’s recent visit to the United Kingdom. His latest response to the presidency is reproduced below.
