How To Make More Profits In Your Business As A Student In A School Environment. by DONHARRY426(m): 12:52am On Apr 29, 2019
Most college and university students always try to look for a part time job so as to make ends meet and also fit the minor bills that incur during the course of the session. This is very admirable and commendable because it helps you as a student to have a direct impact on the economy, create jobs and also solve a lot of financial problems. Students could find a part time job around campus or start a mini business in school which might include typesetting and printing services, makeup services for ladies, sales of clothes, fashion wears etc.

The idea of becoming an entrepreneur like i said earlier is very encouraging but most times students find it difficult to make good sales in school and that’s because they don’t understand the principles behind making good profits in a school environment. In this post, i will be outlining few tips that can help make a positive difference in your small scale business in school most especially as a student.

1. Focus and Determination.
When in a school environment, you are prone to distractions from friends and other extra-curricular activities but it shouldn't make you lose focus in your job while still conscious of the fact that you are in school to study and make good grades. You should also be determined and ready to forge ahead regardless of what people will say about you because no matter what you do people will always talk about it.

2. Be professional
You should try as much as possible to prevent recruiting friends or close family members as business partners or workers at the early stage of your business to prevent early bankruptcy and ensure financial stability as you are prone to rendering services or selling products free to them. Though it's normal to give preferential treatment to your close friends and course mates but it shouldn't be taken to the extreme such as rendering services or selling goods on credit.
