Hmm is seems that South Africans have a reputation on here,

I have read about Nigerians being "mistreated" in other African countries, Liberia, Tanzania, Botswana, Ghana, Sudan but as soon as you hear something like "Nigerians deported from S.A", we are accused of racism and discrimination, etc, I'm not denying we have our problems in S.A  and certainly not excusing the behaviour of South Africans who have hurt Nigerians in anyway cause its awful but I do think some people are being stereotypical which is unfair because it's like me saying all Nigerians are fraudsters which is untrue.
I personally have nothing against Nigerians or any other Africans, I'm from Limpopo, Northern Province and there are quite a few Nigerians there, who are doing well with businesses e.g hair salons, they are living comfortably and even speak the language. There are also famous Nigerians who are also respected in S.A Akin Omotoso (well he is Nigerian-South African now but still), the Vodacom guy(Akin's father), Jacob's Cross actors, musicians etc.
I also think S.A is overexposed, if you think about it, it's one of the most popular countries in Africa so whatever is happening there, it is reported but if you look at a country like Liberia or Djibouti where things ARE happening there too, you'll hardly see the BBC there.

BTW Google Earth Street View earth is now available in S.A, do download and explore our country if you like, I'd start in Hillbrow, johannesburg kidding lol
