Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke, walked into a tight corner Wednesday night, the 25th august, 2010, the eve of the controversial Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) election in the Nicon Luxury in Abuja. The trio of the former Bayelsa State governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, his host Jimoh Ibrahim and the star actress dropped out of the lift into the hands of a battery of reporters who were sniffing for their own sports reports. Upon being sited, the crooning eyes caught the trio. The next minute gists of the rumour of the fact that the controversial actress dating the former governor got some credence. A nosey reporter asked, “are they here for the NFF elections as delegates too?” Then, another added, “they are reported to have been globetrotting across the world including Dubai, London etc Top Super Eagles players around begged that “she is one of us, please help us to remove it from your reports.” That was when another, a known striker who had over six goals in the national team said, “she is an ex-wife. She used to be one of us. If she still be one of us, we go beg make una no write. She don abandon us. Make una write am. She no get shame.” |
