Congratulations are in order for the release of Ms. Zainab from imminent execution by Saudi authorities. Nigerians feel proud on this great achievement by by the President Muhammad Buhari led administration. More so, with the timely investigation and arrest of the drug cartel based in Kano who allegedly put drugs in passenger's luggage at the airport. There are still some questions left unanswered from the formal story;

- Who were the drugs in Zainab's luggage meant for?
- How were they going to retrieve it from the airport since she would be responsible for her luggage at the baggage claims?
- What was the motive; blackmail, revenge. Did some e just set out to send her to the hangman.

Discovering the modus operandi of this cartel would go a long way to sensitize Nigerians and burst same cartels in other airports. It would also help in the defence of other Nigerians in various foreign prisons.

If they did this to Zainab, who knows how many more Nigerians they have done it to, and will still do it to.

Since she did not have the tag for that particular bag- she did not claim it and it was left in left luggage at the airport. Airlines usu handle leg luggage. So members of the cartel at the other end ( which will include airport staff) would have found a way of smuggling it out of the airport. What I don’t understand is the sugarcane in the luggage. What purpose does it serve?

If airport staff are members of the cartel on the other end, they would find a way to remove the drugs before it reaches the baggage claim.

Sugarcane in the luggage?

The story is just too convenient.
No one is asking how long they have done it, who the other victims are. The cartel members have not been charged, that I know of. The cartel story seems to just be created to exonerate Zainab.

cartel and cabals in my government and everywhere...even in Saudi Arabia that the offence for drug trafficking is instant death, yet they thread ...pls who are this cabals or cartels?
Re: Zainab Release: Who Were The Drugs Meant For? by Xisnin(m): 10:56am On May 01, 2019
There are two likely scenarios.
1. The quantity was very small and for personal use and the Saudi decided to forgive as they
usually do with personal marijuana.

2. It is a case of mistaken identity or luggage confusion and the Saudi recognized their errors
and free her.

Anyone who can think already know that the cabal story is a lie.

It depends on the type of drug and its purpose.
